Introductory Paragraph (Fate)
"Heart is what drives us and determines our fate", once said Isabel Allende. This means that we do what we love and it'll be determined in our future. It states the truth for the fact that we do chose what we love to do. We don't just agree on something to do unless we like it. We never know how our results will end up and all we do is expect the unexpected. Fate Is clearly seen in the novel Gone by Michael Grant. They're willing to do what seems to be right so maybe in the future the results that they want will determine in what they are doing at the moment. Sam in this novel doesn't know what his and the rest of the peoples fate is since every person over the age of 15 vanished, he has to figure out where they are, and what to do to survive with the others.

I am Sam
I am in shock and scared
I wonder how they all disappeared
I hear kids laughing then a dead silence
I want to be brave but its scary
I am in shock and scared
I pretend to be in a dream
I feel like I'm not in the real world
I touch and feel where the teacher stood a few minutes ago
I worry where she is, what are we going to do?
I cry inside of me to show no fear
I am in shock and scared
I understand and miss understand all this weirdness
I say how did this happen? Where are all the teachers?
I dream like if I'm dreaming hoping this is not real
I try to make flashbacks in how in a blink of an eye the teacher was gone
I hope it's just a game, a prank
I am in shock and scared
"Gone"
As far as I've been reading and the summary it has in the back of the book it seems to be a very thriller book. It makes you think about how we wish to be "free" and have "freedom" but when you have the chance to be out there in the world alone you realize you need an adult who knows how to get out of your situations as a teen. If you're without any adult supervision you wouldn't know what to do. Every teen wants to have no adult behind them telling them what to do and where to go. The summary of the book makes you want to wonder what these teens are going to do without no adult supervision. I honestly don't know what will happen but probably the teens will fight and wonder how every adults, cops, and toddlers disappeared out of the no where.

A Hero
"A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." ('Christopher Reeve")
The message in this quote makes you understand how hero's not only do something good to represent themselves and in what they can achieve. They also can help others in any obstacles they are going through. I acknowledge what this quote makes you understand. An ordinary individual is a hero of it's own that can achieve certain things because not everyone is the same and not everyone can do the same things. My mom is no where near being famous out there in the world but she is famous in mine. I've been through many bad stages in my life which made me change my way of looking and being. I'm sometimes a quitter in my life but my mom was always there supporting me, telling me not to give up, and giving me great advice. She showed no one anything she just said it with words and made me understand how I can become someone better by doing the right things. She's an ordinary hero who didn't do much but made you understand way more.
